Flamengo Dominates and Defeats ES Tunis in Club World Cup
Philadelphia, USA – Flamengo convincingly defeated ES Tunis in their debut in the FIFA Club World Cup, held at Lincoln Financial Field. The Brazilian team controlled the match from the start, evidenced by a 70% ball possession.
The first goal came in the 17th minute when G. de Arrascaeta, assisted by Luiz Araujo, opened the scoring. Despite Flamengo’s dominance, ES Tunis struggled to stay in the game, receiving four yellow cards (M. Ben Ali at 25′, Y. Belaili at 38′, K. Guenichi at 64′, and M. Tougai at 69′).
