Flamengo Dominates and Defeats Ceará at Maracanã
Rio de Janeiro, December 4, 2025 – In a match held at the Estádio do Maracanã, Flamengo overpowered Ceará with a resounding dominance of the game. The only goal of the match came in the 37th minute, scored by Samuel Lino after an assist from J. Carrascal, enough to secure the victory for the home team.
Flamengo displayed a clear superiority in ball possession, reaching 70% compared to Ceará’s 30%. This superiority translated into a greater number of goal opportunities, with 15 shots from Flamengo, of which 4 were on target and 11 went wide. Meanwhile, Ceará failed to take any shots throughout the entire match, reflecting the difficulty they had in generating danger in the opponent’s area.
