Goal-Filled Match in Miami: Bayern München Defeats Flamengo in Thrilling Encounter
Miami Garden, Florida – In an exciting match held at Hard Rock Stadium, Bayern München overcame Flamengo with a score of 4 to 2 in the round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. The match, officiated by Michael Oliver of England, was characterized by a frantic pace and an offensive display on both sides.
Bayern opened the scoring early with an own goal by E. Pulgar in the 6th minute, quickly followed by a goal from H. Kane in the 9th minute. However, Flamengo did not back down and scored thanks to Gerson in the 33rd minute. Before halftime, L. Goretzka extended Bayern’s lead again in the 41st minute.
The second half continued with the same intensity. Jorginho, from the penalty spot, brought Flamengo closer again in the 55th minute. However, H. Kane scored again for Bayern in the 73rd minute, sealing the victory for the German team.
The match was marked by physical play, reflected in the numerous fouls (18 by Bayern and 17 by Flamengo) and the nine yellow cards shown. While Flamengo had a slight advantage in ball possession (52% against Bayern’s 48%) and more shots on goal, Bayern was more effective in front of the goal.
