Slavia Praha secures a convincing win over FK Jablonec
In an exciting match at the Stadion Střelnice in Jablonec nad Nisou, Slavia Praha defeated FK Jablonec by 3-1 in the 12th round of the 2024 Czech Liga.
Slavia Praha started strong and dominated the game from the first minutes. S. Michez opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a quality goal, assisted by M. Diouf. FK Jablonec tried to react but failed to overcome Slavia Praha’s defense.
In the second half, Slavia Praha extended their lead with a goal by O. Lingr in the 61st minute, thanks to an assist from L. Provod. FK Jablonec, despite making several changes, failed to find the way to goal until V. Chanturishvili managed to pull one back in the 66th minute, thanks to an assist from A. Alegue. However, Slavia Praha controlled the match and secured a deserved victory.
The match statistics reflect the superiority of Slavia Praha: 55% possession, 14 shots (5 on target) and 5 corners, compared to FK Jablonec’s 45% possession, 12 shots (4 on target) and 7 corners.
With this victory, Slavia Praha consolidates itself in the top positions of the Czech Liga table.
