FK Jablonec thrashes Karviná in a vibrant match at Stadion Střelnice
Jablonec nad Nisou, Czech Republic – FK Jablonec secured a resounding 5-0 victory over Karviná in a Czech Liga match played on Saturday, February 23rd at Stadion Střelnice. The match, refereed by Ondrej Berka, was characterized by high intensity and clear dominance from the home side.
Although Karviná had more possession (54%), Jablonec proved more clinical in front of goal. M. Cedidla opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, followed by L. Jawo in the 31st. In the second half, Jablonec sealed their victory with three more goals: D. Holly in the 54th minute, A. Alegue in the 67th, and B. Kanakimana in the 89th. The match also saw a number of yellow cards, with 5 shown to the home team and 3 to Karviná.
