Crvena Zvezda thrashes IMT Novi Beograd at Rajko Mitić
FK Crvena Zvezda secured a resounding 5-1 victory over IMT Novi Beograd at the Rajko Mitić Stadium in Belgrade, in a match corresponding to round 26 of the Serbian Super Liga. The home side dominated the game, enjoying 75% possession and registering 19 shots, 10 of which were on target.
Crvena Zvezda took the lead in the 10th minute with a goal from C. Ndiaye, ironically following a missed penalty. J. Sljivic extended the lead in the 20th minute. An own goal by M. Jevtic in the 46th minute gave Crvena Zvezda a comfortable 3-0 lead at halftime.
The second half continued in the same vein, with Crvena Zvezda controlling the game. N. Radonjic scored in the 70th minute, and Bruno Duarte sealed the victory with a goal in the 81st minute. IMT Novi Beograd managed to score a consolation goal, but Crvena Zvezda’s victory was never in doubt. The match ended 5-1.
