Zalaegerszegi TE Stuns Ferencvarosi TC at Groupama Arena
Budapest, Hungary – In a match held at the Groupama Arena, Zalaegerszegi TE secured a valuable victory over Ferencvarosi TC on matchday 11 of the NB I. Despite Ferencvarosi’s greater ball possession (61%), Zalaegerszegi proved more effective in front of the goal.
Ferencvarosi took the lead in the 34th minute thanks to a goal by B. Varga, assisted by Dele. However, Zalaegerszegi responded with a goal by A. Skribek in the 41st minute, assisted by Maxsuell Alegria, leveling the score before halftime. The first half concluded with a yellow card for N. Keita of Ferencvarosi.

Despite Ferencvarosi’s attempts to reverse the situation and the seven shots on goal they generated, they failed to convert. The match ended with a victory for Zalaegerszegi TE. The match was intense, with a total of ten fouls committed by Ferencvarosi and eleven by Zalaegerszegi TE. The final minutes were marked by yellow cards for both teams.
