Ferencvárosi TC thrashes Kecskeméti TE in a dominant display
Budapest, March 16, 2025.- Ferencvárosi TC secured a convincing 4-0 victory over Kecskeméti TE at the Groupama Aréna in Budapest, in a match corresponding to round 24 of the Hungarian NB I. The home team completely dominated the game, holding 62% possession and significantly outshooting their opponents (7 shots on target to 0).
The goals came early. At the 9th minute, A. Pesic opened the scoring, assisted by A. Toth. H. Maiga doubled the lead at the 31st minute, assisted by C. Makreckis. Kecskeméti TE struggled and accumulated four yellow cards in the first half and another one in the second (Belenyesi, Katona, Vago and Vattay).
In the second half, Ferencvárosi TC continued their dominance. Pesic scored a penalty in the 72nd minute, and Raul Gustavo sealed the victory with a goal in the 78th minute. Despite the multiple cautions, Kecskeméti TE failed to create any danger in front of the opposing goal, managing only 2 shots, none of them on target. Ferencvárosi TC, on the other hand, had 13 shots, 7 of them on target. The superiority of Ferencvárosi TC was clear, both in the scoreline and in the game.
