FCSB Triumphs Over Dinamo Bucuresti in Thrilling Bucharest Derby
Bucharest, February 23, 2025 – FCSB emerged victorious against Dinamo Bucuresti with a 3-1 win in a captivating Liga I match at the Arena Națională. Despite Dinamo controlling 54% of the possession, FCSB proved more clinical in front of goal.
The match started at a frenetic pace. At the 18th minute, S. Perica put Dinamo ahead, assisted by D. Politic. However, B. Alhassan quickly equalized for FCSB at the 20th minute, thanks to a pass from R. Radunovic. Yellow cards were shown to P. Olsen (Dinamo) and S. Ngezana (FCSB) before halftime.
In the second half, FCSB took control. J. Gele scored the winning goal in the 57th minute, assisted by J. Cisotti. Dinamo received two more yellow cards in this period, to J. Homawoo. The match concluded with a 3-1 victory for FCSB. Despite Dinamo’s greater possession and more shots, FCSB’s accuracy in front of goal made the difference in an intense and exciting encounter. The referee was Istvan Kovacs from Romania.
