FC Sion Overpowers FC Winterthur in Action-Packed Match
Winterthur, Switzerland – In a vibrant match held at the Stadion Schützenwiese, FC Sion triumphed over FC Winterthur with a score that reflects the intensity and back-and-forth nature of the game. The match, corresponding to the sixth matchday of the Swiss Super League, delivered a spectacle full of goals and tense moments.
Sion took an early lead thanks to a goal by R. Nivokazi in the 13th minute, assisted by A. Kabacalman. However, Winterthur reacted quickly, with E. Maluvunu leveling the score in the 21st minute with the help of S. Sidler. The home side’s joy was short-lived, as a subsequent goal by Maluvunu was disallowed by VAR in the 27th minute due to a foul.
Sion capitalized on this moment of uncertainty to take control of the match. N. Sow scored in the 32nd minute, followed by J. Lukembila in the 35th minute, assisted again by R. Nivokazi, extending the lead for the visitors.
