FC Winterthur edges out BSC Young Boys in a tight encounter
FC Winterthur secured a 1-0 victory over BSC Young Boys in a thrilling match played at the Stadion Schützenwiese in Winterthur on February 15th, 2025. Despite slightly more possession (53% for Young Boys compared to Winterthur’s 47%) and more shots (16 to 13), the visiting team failed to capitalize on their chances. The only goal of the game arrived in the 84th minute, courtesy of M. Di Giusto for Winterthur. The match was a tense affair, with two yellow cards shown to BSC Young Boys (A. Athekame and M. Camara in the first half) and one to FC Winterthur in added time (L. Bajrami).
