FC Tokyo snatches last-minute victory against Vissel Kobe in thrilling encounter
Chōfu, Japan – In a thrilling match played at the Ajinomoto Stadium on May 10th, 2025, FC Tokyo defeated Vissel Kobe with a 90th-minute penalty goal scored by Marcelo Ryan. The game, part of the 16th round of the J1 League, was characterized by high intensity and an even match.
Vissel Kobe dominated possession (53%), taking 16 shots, although only 3 were on target. FC Tokyo, with 47% possession, proved more effective in attack, with 6 of their 13 shots finding the target.
