FC Tokyo defeated Gamba Osaka with a convincing 3-0 victory at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo. The match, corresponding to round 12 of the 2025 J1 League, was played on April 25th at 10:30 AM. Despite having less possession (39%), FC Tokyo proved more effective in front of goal. Gamba Osaka dominated possession (61%), but only managed two shots on target. An own goal by Kishimoto in the 90th minute sealed the victory for the home side. Previously, K. Tawaratsumida (86′) and T. Ko (90′) had scored for FC Tokyo. The game featured a yellow card to T. Oka of FC Tokyo in the 7th minute and a disallowed goal for offside for Gamba Osaka in the 21st minute.
