The match, part of the 2024 J1 League’s round 38, saw FC Tokyo’s superior finishing ability shine through despite Cerezo Osaka’s 56% possession. Goals came in the 10th and 40th minutes from T. Nakagawa (assisted by R. Araki) and T. Ko respectively. Henrique Trevisan added a third in the 88th minute. Although Cerezo Osaka managed 14 shots (4 on target), FC Tokyo’s defense held firm.
