FC St. Pauli Edges Out Holstein Kiel in Tense Encounter
FC St. Pauli secured a 3-1 victory over Holstein Kiel in a thrilling match at Hamburg’s Millerntor-Stadion, marking their 12th Bundesliga game of the 2024 season. The game, officiated by Felix Zwayer, was a tense affair, resulting in seven yellow cards.
St. Pauli took the lead through Saliakas in the 25th minute, assisted by Eggestein. Holstein Kiel missed a penalty in the 45th minute when Arp’s attempt was unsuccessful. Guilavogui extended St. Pauli’s lead in the 56th minute, once again assisted by Eggestein. Eggestein capped off the win with a goal in the 85th minute, assisted by Treu. Holstein Kiel managed a late consolation goal through Harres in the 90th minute.
