Hamburg, Germany – In a vibrant match held at the Millerntor-Stadion, Borussia Mönchengladbach demonstrated their offensive power by defeating FC St. Pauli with a convincing display of play. The match, corresponding to the ninth matchday of the Bundesliga, made clear the good moment of the visiting team.
The score opened early, in the 15th minute, with a goal by H. Tabakovic, assisted by F. Neuhaus. Tabakovic would reappear in the 40th minute, this time with an assist from F. Honorat, extending the lead for Mönchengladbach before the break.
The second half continued with the dominance of Borussia Mönchengladbach, who sealed the victory with goals from S. Machino in the 75th minute, with an assist from Tabakovic, and a goal from O. Fraulo in the 80th minute.
Despite FC St. Pauli’s 57% ball possession, they failed to materialize their dominance on the scoreboard, generating 15 shots, of which only 3 were on target.
