Rostov thrashes Nizhny Novgorod in a heated encounter
Rostov-on-Don, November 30, 2024.- FC Rostov achieved a resounding 4-0 victory over Nizhny Novgorod in a matchday 17 Premier League clash at the Rostov Arena. The game, refereed by Yan Bobrovskiy, was characterized by tension and cards, with a total of seven yellow cards and one red card issued.
The home side dominated possession (53%) and created numerous scoring opportunities, registering 20 shots, 9 of which were on target. Osipenko opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, assisted by Komlichenko. Rostov extended their lead in the 60th minute through Saravia Salvia, with Glebov providing the assist.
