Goal Fest in East Rutherford: Al Ahly and FC Porto Draw in Thrilling Encounter
East Rutherford, New Jersey – A vibrant match at MetLife Stadium ended in a draw after a goal-scoring frenzy between Al Ahly and FC Porto, in a match corresponding to the group stage of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
The Egyptian side Al Ahly took an early lead in the 15th minute with a goal by W. Abou Ali, assisted by H. Fathy. However, FC Porto quickly responded with a goal by R. Mora in the 23rd minute. Al Ahly would regain the lead with a penalty converted by W. Abou Ali just before halftime.
