FC Porto B secured a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Penafiel at the Estádio Luís Filipe Menezes in Vila Nova de Gaia. The match, part of the 22nd round of the Portuguese Segunda Liga, was officiated by Antonio Nobre. Porto B dominated the second half, taking the lead early on with a goal from L. Vonic in the 46th minute. Further goals from Felipe Silva (52nd minute) and G. Sousa (54th minute) put Porto B firmly in control at 3-0. However, Penafiel mounted a late comeback, scoring through Gabriel Barbosa in the 69th minute and adding a penalty in the 90th minute. Despite Penafiel’s late push, FC Porto B held on for the win. The game saw a total of three yellow cards, two for FC Porto B and one for Penafiel.
