Apoel Nicosia defeated FC Noah 3-1 in a thrilling match at the Vazgen Sargsyan anvan Hanrapetakan Marzadasht stadium in Yerevan, Armenia on December 12th, 2024. The game, part of the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage matchday 5, saw I. Chebake open the scoring for Apoel in the 23rd minute, assisted by A. Donis. FC Noah equalized just before halftime through Matheus Aias (45′), assisted by G. Silva. The second half was a tight affair, with yellow cards shown to S. Tejera (Apoel) and H. Ferreira (FC Noah). Apoel Nicosia secured the victory with two late goals, first from G. Kostadinov (89′, assisted by R. Petrovic) and then from D. Abagna (90′). FC Noah had a goal disallowed for handball in the 83rd minute. Despite having more possession (53%), FC Noah were unable to match Apoel’s clinical finishing. Both teams had similar shots on target (5 each), however, FC Noah had 5 corners and Apoel 4. The referee was Milos Milanovic from Serbia.
