Lokomotiv Moscow Edges Out Fakel Voronezh in Tight Encounter
Voronezh, May 11, 2025 – Lokomotiv Moscow secured a 1-0 victory over Fakel Voronezh at the Stadion Fakel in a closely fought Premier League match, round 28. D. Vorobyev scored the only goal of the game in the 22nd minute, assisted by S. Pinyaev.
Despite Lokomotiv enjoying more possession (55% to Fakel’s 45%), the match was a hard-fought battle in midfield. Fakel, with 14 corner kicks, relentlessly pressed forward, but managed only one shot on target. Lokomotiv proved more clinical, registering 5 shots on target from their 12 attempts.
