Thrilling Match in Rotterdam Ends with Heracles Victory Over Excelsior
Rotterdam, November 8, 2025 – A vibrant and action-packed match was witnessed today at the Stadion Woudestein, where Heracles Almelo triumphed over Excelsior Rotterdam. The match, corresponding to matchday 12 of the Eredivisie, kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.
Excelsior started strong, opening the scoring early thanks to a goal by N. Naujoks in the 8th minute, assisted by I. Yegoian. However, Heracles, displaying greater ball possession (55% compared to Excelsior’s 45%), did not back down and relentlessly sought the opposing goal.
The first half saw C. Widell from Excelsior and I. Mesik from Heracles receive yellow cards. The second half brought increased intensity. W. Ould Chikh equalized for Heracles in the 60th minute, assisted by J. Hornkamp. Minutes later, in the 64th, S.
