In the second half, Estoril, dominating possession with 59%, managed to equalize the score thanks to a penalty converted by Y. Begraoui in the 60th minute. The match continued to be physical, with several yellow cards shown to players from both teams, including G. Costa and J. Holsgrove for Estoril and Jose Gomes for Nacional.
