Al-Nassr edge out Esteghlal FC with a solitary Laporte goal in a dominant performance
Al-Nassr secured a victory against Esteghlal FC in their third AFC Champions League group stage match, thanks to a goal from Aymeric Laporte in the 81st minute.
The match, played at the Rashid Stadium in Dubai, was characterized by the dominance of Al-Nassr, who controlled possession for most of the encounter. The Saudi side created numerous scoring opportunities, with 19 shots, 10 of which were on target. Esteghlal FC, on the other hand, barely threatened the opposing goalkeeper, with only 7 shots, only 1 of which was on target.
