Chelsea Overpowers ES Tunis in Philadelphia
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – Chelsea delivered a commanding performance against ES Tunis at Lincoln Financial Field in a match belonging to the group stage of the FIFA Club World Cup. The English team dominated possession with a decisive 75% compared to ES Tunis’s 25%.
The first half concluded with a Chelsea double, first with a goal by L. Delap, assisted by E. Fernandez, and then followed by another goal from T. Adarabioyo, also assisted by Fernandez in the 45th minute. After a series of strategic changes by both teams, in the final moments of the match, T. George scored the third and final goal for Chelsea, thanks to an assist from C. Nkunku.
Chelsea generated 15 shots, 6 of which were on target, while ES Tunis struggled to find offensive opportunities, managing only 3 shots, none of which were on target.
