Tunisia Snatch Late Victory in Malabo
Malabo, September 8, 2025 – In a hard-fought encounter at the Nuevo Estadio de Malabo, Tunisia secured a narrow victory against Equatorial Guinea in a World Cup Qualification Africa group stage match.
The game was tense and tight for the majority of the time, with both sides battling for control of the midfield. The match was punctuated by fouls, resulting in one yellow card for an Equatorial Guinea player and three for the Tunisian side. A lack of precision in front of goal was evident, with few shots on target from either team.
