Bologna thrashes Empoli in Coppa Italia semi-final
Bologna secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Empoli in the 2024 Coppa Italia semi-final, played at the Stadio Carlo Castellani – Computer Gross Arena in Empoli on April 1st, 2025. The match, refereed by Luca Zufferli of Italy, showcased Bologna’s dominance.
Bologna controlled the game, enjoying 67% possession. Orsolini opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, assisted by Odgaard. Dallinga doubled the lead in the 29th minute, with Ndoye providing the assist. Dallinga completed his brace in the 51st minute, again assisted by Ndoye, sealing the victory for Bologna.
