Emmen defeats FC OSS in a match with strong emotions
Emmen beat FC OSS 2-0 in a Eerste Divisie match that was marked by yellow cards and the expulsion of an FC OSS player.
The first goal came in the 23rd minute, when D. Nunumete took advantage of a pass from T. Rhein to open the scoring. FC OSS tried to react, but was affected by the numerous yellow cards they received. J. Kuijpers, J. Zimmerman, T. Cox and T. van der Werff were booked in the first half, while Zimmerman received his second yellow in the 65th minute and was sent off.
Emmen took advantage of the numerical superiority in the second half and managed to extend their lead in the 85th minute, thanks to a goal from K. Nsona.
The match ended with a 2-0 win for Emmen, who added three important points in the standings.
