Elche edges out Sporting Gijón in a thrilling encounter
Elche emerged victorious over Sporting Gijón with a 2-1 win in a captivating match held at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero. The encounter was characterized by the intensity and determination of both teams, who fought tirelessly for victory until the final whistle.
The opening goal of the match arrived in the 49th minute, courtesy of Óscar Plano for Elche, assisted by Yangel Santiago.
