El Nacional Defeats Macará in a Tense Match in Quito
El Nacional secured an important victory over Macará at the Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa in Quito, in a match corresponding to the Liga Pro. The final score favored the home team.
The match, refereed by Yerson Zambrano, was intense from the start. In the 9th minute, J. Chala opened the scoring for El Nacional with a precise finish, assisted by D. Reasco. The initial dominance of the home team was solidified in the 35th minute, when J. D. Mejia Moreira extended the lead.
However, the home side’s joy was dampened in the 45th minute when M. Montano received a red card, leaving his team with ten men. Despite the numerical disadvantage, El Nacional managed to maintain their lead.
