Independiente del Valle Overcomes El Nacional in Thrilling Quito Match
Quito, April 14, 2025.- Independiente del Valle defeated El Nacional 3-1 in an exciting match played at the Estadio Olímpico Atahualpa for round 8 of the 2025 Liga Pro. The match, officiated by Franklin Andres Congo Viteri, was characterized by intensity and alternating ball possession.
Although El Nacional controlled 55% of possession, Independiente del Valle proved more effective in converting chances. The visiting team’s goals came from Michael Hoyos (11′), Alan Rodríguez (23′), and Jhon Jairo Pérez Arroyo (32′). El Nacional pulled one back with a goal from Anthony Cela (26′).
