Braunschweig, Germany – In a match marked by intensity and controversy, Hannover 96 defeated Eintracht Braunschweig with a final score of 3 to 0. The early expulsion of E. Yardimci from Eintracht Braunschweig in the 20th minute conditioned the development of the game. Nevertheless, Hannover 96 also had to deal with a heated atmosphere, evidenced by the numerous yellow cards shown, both for their players and those of Braunschweig.

Forward B. Kallman was the standout player for Hannover 96, scoring two goals in the first half (minutes 32 and 36), the first assisted by M. Bundu. However, one of his goals was later disallowed by VAR in the 47th minute. D. Yokota sealed the victory for Hannover 96 with a goal in the 62nd minute, assisted by K. Oudenne.
