Zenit and Dynamo Draw in Thrilling Moscow Match
Moscow, April 26, 2025 – The VTB Arena in Moscow hosted a vibrant match between Zenit and Dynamo in round 26 of the Russian Premier League. The game, which ended in a 1-1 draw, was marked by intensity and goal-scoring opportunities for both teams.
Pedro opened the scoring for Zenit in the 18th minute with a goal that left the Dynamo goalkeeper helpless. However, Y. Gladyshev equalized for Dynamo in the 41st minute, taking advantage of an assist from L. Chavez.
The second half was characterized by a more fragmented game, with three yellow cards shown: one to D. Fomin and one to R. Fernandez of Dynamo, and one to M. Glushenkov of Zenit. Zenit, despite having less possession (45%), generated more shots on target (5) than Dynamo (3). Dynamo, with 55% possession, had more corners (4 to Zenit’s 7). Fouls were slightly more numerous for Dynamo (16 to Zenit’s 11).
