Dunkerque beats RED Star FC 93 in an exciting match
Dunkerque secured a 2-0 victory over RED Star FC 93 in a Ligue 2 match played at the Stade Marcel-Tribut in Dunkerque, France.
The match started at a slow pace, and the first goal didn’t arrive until the 31st minute when O. Sangante put Dunkerque 1-0 up. The second half was much more exciting with both teams looking for a goal. N. Skytta scored the second goal for Dunkerque in the 63rd minute to seal the victory.
RED Star FC 93 had more possession of the ball (51%) but failed to translate that possession into goal-scoring opportunities, while Dunkerque was more effective in taking advantage of their chances.
