Dunkerque Edges Out Paris FC in Close Encounter
Dunkerque secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Paris FC in a tense Ligue 2 match at the Stade Marcel-Tribut. Despite having less possession (43% compared to Dunkerque’s 57%), Paris FC created chances, but a lack of accuracy in the final third and a strong Dunkerque defense prevented them from scoring.
The match was a physical encounter, with a total of 19 fouls committed (12 by Paris FC and 7 by Dunkerque). Three yellow cards were shown, one each to A. Camara and M. Lopez of Paris FC and one to F. Abner of Dunkerque. The winning goal came in the 84th minute, courtesy of K. Tejan, who finished off a pass from N. Skytta. Paris FC’s late efforts to equalize proved futile.
