Dundee suffered a 2-1 defeat to Motherwell in a thrilling match played at The Scot Foam Stadium at Dens Park on May 3rd, 2025. Despite taking the lead through a goal from J. Portales in the 31st minute, Dundee had a goal disallowed for offside before halftime. Motherwell, enjoying more possession (56%), leveled the score in the 59th minute thanks to a goal from T. Sparrow. The sending off of J. Koutroumbis in the 80th minute complicated matters for the home side, who were unable to prevent a late winner from T. Maswanhise in stoppage time.
