Dundee defeated Motherwell 4-1 in a thrilling match at The Scot Foam Stadium at Dens Park, Dundee. The game, part of the 15th round of the Scottish Premiership, saw the home side dominate possession (58%) despite Motherwell’s numerous shots (24, only 6 on target). O. Adewumi opened the scoring for Dundee in the 15th minute, but A. Stamatelopoulos equalised for Motherwell in the 19th minute. The second half was a Dundee masterclass. S. Tiffoney (60′), and L. Cameron (63′ and 67′) scored three consecutive goals to secure the victory. The match was marked by yellow cards to B. Koumetio (Dundee, 29′), S. Seddon and an unnamed Motherwell player (61′), L. Miller (Motherwell, 78′) and J. McGhee (Dundee, 79′). Despite Motherwell’s superior number of shots, Dundee’s clinical finishing proved decisive.
