Diosgyori VTK Stages Comeback Victory Over Puskas Academy
Miskolc, Hungary – Diosgyori VTK secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over Puskas Academy at the Diósgyőri Stadion on Saturday, March 1st, in a matchday 22 clash of the Hungarian NB I. The game, played in front of a decent crowd, was characterized by intensity and goal-scoring opportunities for both sides.
Puskas Academy took the lead in the 28th minute through a goal by A. Favorov, assisted by J. Plsek. However, Diosgyori VTK responded swiftly. R. Pozeg, assisted by E. Acolatse, equalized in the 6th minute, showcasing the home team’s attacking prowess. The second half was a back-and-forth affair with dangerous attacks from both sides. G. Jurek finally sealed the comeback for Diosgyori VTK with a goal in the 89th minute.
