Dinamo Zagreb Dominates HNK Gorica in Convincing Victory at Stadion Maksimir
Zagreb, February 15, 2025 – Dinamo Zagreb secured a commanding 4-1 victory over HNK Gorica in a HNL matchday 22 clash at Stadion Maksimir. Croatian referee Zdenko Lovrić officiated the game, which saw Dinamo control possession (64%) and create significantly more scoring opportunities (13 shots, 6 on target).
HNK Gorica took an early lead through Elezi’s goal in the 27th minute, assisted by Sikosek. However, Kanga equalized for Dinamo in the 33rd minute, assisted by Pjaca. The turning point came in the 63rd minute with the red card for Cuic (Gorica) following a second yellow card. Pjaca added a second goal for Dinamo in the 75th minute, assisted by Baturina, before Kulenovic sealed the victory with a goal in the 90th minute, assisted by Hoxha.
The match was characterized by a high number of yellow cards (7 for Gorica, 2 for Dinamo) and one red card for HNK Gorica. Despite the loss, HNK Gorica only managed one shot on target. Dinamo Zagreb’s superior possession and attacking play clearly dictated the match, resulting in a comfortable win.
