Deportivo Garcilaso Overpowers Cultural Santa Rosa in Cusco
Cusco, Peru – In a vibrant match held at the Estadio Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, Deportivo Garcilaso convincingly defeated Cultural Santa Rosa in the opening round of the Clausura tournament of the Peruvian First Division. The match, officiated by Joel Alarcon, was marked by the home team’s effectiveness in front of goal.
Although Cultural Santa Rosa maintained greater ball possession (56% compared to Garcilaso’s 44%) and made a higher number of shots (27 against 12), Deportivo Garcilaso’s efficiency proved decisive for the victory.
