Den Bosch suffered a 2-4 defeat against Dordrecht in a thrilling match played at the Stadion De Vliert in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The game, corresponding to matchday 17 of the 2024 Eerste Divisie season, was officiated by B. Nijhuis. Den Bosch started well, scoring first with a goal from V. Kotzebue in the 18th minute, assisted by N. de Groot. T. van Leeuwen extended the home side’s lead before half-time (45′), thanks to a pass from B. Burgering. However, Dordrecht showed greater possession (57%) and greater efficiency in front of goal. Dordrecht reacted with a goal from D. Haen in the 57th minute, assisted by J. Schuurman, and subsequently managed to turn the game around with two more goals from D. Haen (82′) and J. van den Avert (85’), the latter assisted by R. R. Shein. Despite the defeat, Den Bosch had 9 shots on goal, 3 of them on target, while Dordrecht registered 14 shots, 6 of them on target. Dordrecht received two yellow cards, while Den Bosch remained without cautions.
