Macará Asserts Dominance in Manta with a Resounding Victory Over Delfín SC
Manta, Ecuador – In a match held at the Estadio Jocay, Macará demonstrated remarkable superiority by defeating Delfín SC in a Liga Pro encounter. The visiting team, despite having less ball possession (41% compared to Delfín’s 59%), was far more effective in front of goal.
P. Gonzalez emerged as the key figure in the first half, scoring a brace in the 22nd and 26th minutes, both goals assisted by M. Viera. The first half ended with a clear lead for Macará.
After the break, F. Paz extended the lead in the 46th minute. The match became more physical, evidenced by a series of yellow cards shown to M. Burdisso of Delfín SC in the 51st minute, and later to M. Juambeltz of Macará, E. Zuniga and E. Vega of Delfín SC in the 64th minute. G. Blanc sealed the match for Macará in the 75th minute, assisted by T. Espinoza.
