Malmö FF thrashes Degerfors IF in exciting match
Malmö FF secured a resounding 4-1 victory over Degerfors IF at Stora Valla in Degerfors, Sweden, in the 8th round of the 2025 Allsvenskan. The match, officiated by Joakim Ostling, was dominated by Malmö FF, who controlled possession (66%) and created numerous scoring opportunities (19 shots, 9 on target).
The rout began early. L. Johnsen scored a penalty in the 7th minute. E. Ekong extended the lead in the 28th minute, and C. Rosler made it 3-0 in the 49th minute. Although Degerfors pulled one back with a penalty from M. Rafferty in the 52nd minute, the comeback attempt was short-lived. A. Christiansen sealed the victory with a goal in the 90th minute.
