Brommapojkarna Stuns Degerfors with Resounding Victory
Degerfors, Sweden – In a match held at Stora Valla, IF Brommapojkarna surprised Degerfors IF with a convincing victory, despite the clear difference in ball possession. The home side, who dominated 72% of the time with the ball, failed to translate their control into clear goalscoring opportunities.
Brommapojkarna, on the other hand, made the most of their chances. L. Arrhov opened the scoring in the 19th minute, after an assist from A. Jakobsen. In the second half, A. Kurochkin extended the lead in the 50th minute, again assisted by Jakobsen, demonstrating the effectiveness of the visitors’ attack. E. Bjorkander sealed the victory in the 53rd minute, thanks to an assist from V. Lind.
Despite having control of the ball and generating a total of 12 shots, none of which were on target, Degerfors could not find a way to overcome the Brommapojkarna defense. Their frustration resulted in 12 fouls and a yellow card for S. Ohlsson. Meanwhile, Brommapojkarna, who had only 28% possession, was much more effective, with 10 total shots, 5 of them on target. The match also saw a yellow card for O. Cotton of Brommapojkarna.
