La Serena and Universidad de Chile Draw in Thrilling, Card-Filled Match
La Serena, Chile – In a hard-fought match at the Estadio La Portada de La Serena, the home team and Universidad de Chile drew in a game that had it all: goals, cards, and a red card. Ball control was clearly in favor of Universidad de Chile, with 67% possession, however, it was La Serena who opened the scoring in the 64th minute with a goal by J. Vargas, assisted by E. Moreira. Despite U. de Chile’s persistence, La Serena managed to maintain their lead until the final minutes. Universidad de Chile achieved the equalizer in the 86th minute thanks to L.
