Colo Colo defeated Deportes La Serena in an exciting match played at the Estadio La Portada de La Serena. The game, corresponding to the first round of the 2025 Chilean Primera División season, ended with a 3-1 victory for the white team.
The match was intense from the start. At 33 minutes, Vicente Pizarro opened the scoring for Colo Colo, assisted by Marco Bolados. Despite the loss, Deportes La Serena showed a combative attitude, creating scoring chances, although without the effectiveness of their rival. Colo Colo dominated possession (58%) and had more shots on goal (6 to 2). The match ended with a total of 28 fouls and four yellow cards.
