ADT Shocks Cusco with Away Victory in Thrilling Match
Cusco, Peru – In a hard-fought match at the Estadio Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, ADT secured a surprising away victory against Cusco in the tenth round of the Apertura of the Primera División. Despite Cusco’s territorial dominance and ball possession (69%), ADT capitalized on their opportunities to take home the three points.
The match started explosively with an early goal from J. Rojas for ADT in the very first minute, assisted by G. Barreto. This early goal shook the home team, who tried to react throughout the match.
Despite Cusco’s persistence, ADT’s defense remained firm, although not without receiving some cautions. G. Dulanto and J. Narvaez received yellow cards for ADT, while I. Colman was cautioned for Cusco. Controversy also arose when a goal by A. Ampuero for Cusco was disallowed by VAR for offside.
In the final stretch of the match, D. Montenegro sealed the victory with a goal in the 86th minute, assisted by N. Bazan, consolidating ADT’s win.
