LDU de Quito Stages Comeback Victory Against Cuniburo at Home
Quito, Ecuador – In a hard-fought match at the Estadio Cooprogreso Gonzalo Pozo Ripalda, LDU de Quito secured a valuable victory against Cuniburo. The match, part of the 16th round of the Liga Pro 2025, saw Cuniburo take the lead in the 50th minute with a goal by R. Monti. However, LDU de Quito responded strongly in the second half.
In the 61st minute, B.J. Ramirez Leon equalized the score. The constant pressure from the home team finally paid off when, in the 80th minute, A. Cabeza scored the goal that sealed the victory for LDU de Quito. The match was refereed by Yerson Zambrano. Despite a yellow card issued to R. Mina of LDU de Quito and another one to Cuniburo in the 90th minute, the match proceeded without major disciplinary incidents.
