Cultural Santa Rosa Triumphs in Thrilling Match Against Alianza Universidad
Andahuaylas, Peru – In a match played at the Estadio Los Chankas, Cultural Santa Rosa secured a thrilling 3-1 victory over Alianza Universidad in the sixth round of the 2025 Peruvian Primera División Apertura stage. The game, officiated by Michael Espinoza, was characterized by its intensity and a constant exchange of attacks on both goals.
Cultural Santa Rosa took the lead early, opening the scoring in the 32nd minute with a goal from P. Bueno, assisted by S. Torres. However, Alianza Universidad fought back and, after a more balanced second half, managed to equalize in the 65th minute through a goal from R. Campodonico, assisted by M. Lliuya. But Cultural Santa Rosa demonstrated their ability to react in the dying moments of the game, scoring two goals in stoppage time. First, O. Takeuchi scored in the 90th minute, and then I. Camargo sealed the victory with another goal in the same minute, assisted by C. Velarde.
Despite the defeat, Alianza Universidad put in a good performance, creating goal-scoring opportunities throughout the match.
