Cruzeiro Mounts Comeback to Defeat RB Bragantino in Card-Filled Match
Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais – In a heated match at the Estádio Governador Magalhães Pinto, Cruzeiro secured a valuable victory over RB Bragantino with a final score of 2 to 1. The match, corresponding to matchday 24 of the Brazilian Serie A, was characterized by its intensity and the high number of yellow cards issued by referee Lucas Paulo Torezin.
RB Bragantino took the lead in the 26th minute with a goal by Jhon Jhon, assisted by I. Laquintana. However, Cruzeiro didn’t back down, and just before halftime, Lucas Silva equalized the score with a goal in the 45th minute, after an assist from Kaio Jorge.
In the second half, Cruzeiro imposed their game, dominating possession with 60%. The constant pressure from the home team finally paid off in the 77th minute, when Kaiki scored the winning goal.
